Knight International Press Fellowships

Program sponsors up to 20 fellows each year to provide journalistic, management, business and technical assistance to a free and independent press worldwide. Administered by the International Center for Journalists, the program works through partner institutions and news organizations seeking outside assistance in countries throughout the world. Fellowships are awarded on the basis of expressed commitment, experience, qualifications and expertise in areas of need. The fellowships range from three to nine months, depending upon the needs and circumstances of the partner institutions.
